Bio

Prior to starting her business in 2000, Mary Anne worked for Kodak, GE, and Xerox as well as smaller companies and a nonprofit.

Mary Anne’s formal education includes a BA in Mathematics and a Masters in Business Administration. She is a Certified Attribute Index Analyst, Certified DISC Index Analyst, and Certified VALUES Index Analyst.

In 2009 Mary Anne graduated from the Resources Associates Coaching Academy. She will complete the requirements to attain Certified Business Coach(TM) certification by summer 2010.

She is affiliated with an international network of senior-level business development and performance improvement professionals. This affiliation provides Mary Anne with scalable resources to work with businesses of virtually any size across the United States.

Continuous Learning

Mary Anne is a permanent student of life and business. She attends conferences 4-5 times a year to continually update her knowledge, skills and contacts in the Internet and business coaching industries.

Understanding that one of the best ways to learn something is to teach it, she has developed and delivered dozens of speeches, seminars and workshops on a wide range of business topics.

She also reads 30-40 business books and 20-30 non-business books a year and follows the blogs of leading thinkers. She has started several book discussion groups, currently managing three and participating as a civilian in another. She writes book reviews on her Reading Since Birth blog.

Community Leadership

Mary Anne has served in various roles for business and community organizations such as Rochester (NY) Chapter of NAWBO, Western NY Chapter of PDMA, and Writers and Books. She was twice president of the Rochester (NY) Professional Consultants Network. She is an avid networker who loves to connect people and share information. She never leaves home without her business cards!
